In front of the sea, an ancient restored market marked the period of the "black gold" - coffee - that for many years was also shipped in the Paraty Port

The material employed in the restoration - wood and stone - is the same from colonial times. From its walls, almost in ruins, the welcoming "Mercado do Pouso" Inn was put up. The bells in the neighbor Santa Rita church sound announcing its famous colonial breakfast.

Around a beautiful garden, there are the reading and resting room aside from the TV room with DirecTV, bar and ambient music.
The apartments have roof fans and mini-fridges. The special suites have two rooms, air conditioner and TV, for your comfort.

"A boat, a history of more then a hundred years old of the always much traveled seas."

In the schooner ride you can observe the meeting of the sea with hills and their exuberant Atlantic jungle in one of the most beautiful parts of Brazilian coast, filled with beaches, creeks and innumerous islands.
Pointing to the "Mercado do Pouso" Inn, the schooner "Seberano da Costa" takes the gests on a beautiful tour through Paraty Bay, with three stops for diving and tours and a delicious lunch on board (optional)
