The Restaurante Merlin o Mago is situated in one of the loveliest places in the world. This is no exaggeration. The beauty of the bay of Paraty, the well preserved historical center of the city, its strange, slightly unreal appearance, which lets one think of a stage decoration, the stunning beauty of the surrounding nature, all this makes it so special and precious. During the 50’s it received the title “Historical National Monument”.

The owners of the Restaurante Merlin o Mago (Merlin the Magician) have chosen the location of their Restaurant very consciously, not only for its beauty, but also for some other advantages: the wonderful fish, shrimp and lobster on the Menu come from the bay, a few meters away from the Restaurant. The famous Brazilian meat comes from the interiour and the herbs and vegetables, even the delicious rainbow trout come from the surrounding mountains. Everything is available very fresh. The bay of Paraty simply is a Chefs paradise.
