The Pouso das Saíras is calm place, with an open country climate, far from the traffic of the town but only 10 minutes on foot from the Historical Center.
Around the lodging there is a small grove with ornamental and native species of the area that is responsible for attracting birds of the Atlantic forest, including the saíras. The proprietor is a forest engineer with a PHD who has worked in the area for 16 years. He offers information on ecological trails, with personalized attendance also in
French, English and Spanish.
They are eight cozy suites with balcony, TV, mosquito nets and ceiling fans with dimmer switches. Besides a television room and large parking, the inn offers delicious breakfast served on top of a wood burning stove.
